Hope and Help for

Families and Friends of Addicts

Outreach

Do you have a passion for spreading awareness about Nar-Anon?

Step Twelve invites us to carry Nar-Anon’s message of hope to others. Outreach offers a way to carry the message by increasing awareness of Nar-Anon Family Groups. The focus of outreach is to let families and friends of addicts and professionals who may come in contact with them know that help is available. Spreading awareness through outreach assists in the growth of local groups, areas, and regions and the fellowship as a whole.

All levels of the fellowship – individuals, local groups, areas, and regions - can support outreach and be part of the vital link between people seeking help and Nar-Anon members who share their experience, strength, and hope.

Three easy ways to participate:

1.       Print off this Outreach Letter (click here) and mail it or deliver it to professionals who come in contact with those struggling with the problems of addiction in a loved one or friend (doctors, therapists, law enforcement, drug courts, clergy, etc.).

2.       Print off the Nar-Anon Offers Hope (click here) and/or the Narateen Outreach (click here) pamphlet(s), write down the link to the Region website’s “Find-A-Meeting” page (https://www.naranonpnw.org/find-a-meeting), and post at laundromats, public libraries, grocery store message boards, community services offices, etc.

3.       Download and print the local meeting list (available at https://www.naranonpnw.org/find-a-meeting) and post at laundromats, public libraries, grocery store message boards, community services offices, etc.
